The Settings page is unusable to the point of having to reinstall ABP Safari extension. Expected behaviour. The ABP Settings page should be exempted from being filtered by ABP itself, and always kept functional. I came across this by naively adding.adblock. as custom filter, to remove a 'disable your adblocker to see our site. UBlock is the best ad blocker for Mac, and the ideal tool for blocking unwanted ads and speeding up your browsing experience. Following the release of MacOS 10.14 and Safari 12, many in-browser ad blockers stopped working.
Go into Safari/Preferences/Websites/Content Blockers/ and make sure that content blocking is set to 'When visiting other websites' = 'on' Enable Ka-Block When visiting a site that you want to whitelist, click Safari/Settings for this Website/and uncheck 'Enable Content Blockers'. Adblock Plus for Safari is a third party application that provides additional functionality to OS X system and enjoys a popularity among Mac users. However, instead of installing it by dragging its icon to the Application folder, uninstalling Adblock Plus for Safari may need you to do more than a simple drag-and-drop to the Trash.
